About OINTEK

An operating team that happens to be outsourced.

Agencies are paid to produce work. We're paid to hold a number, and that changes what we recommend and what we tell you when a month goes badly.

Where we came from

Built by operators who had to make payroll

OINTEK started because the same problem kept showing up: a good product, a founder who understood the customer, and a channel stack nobody had time to run properly. Listings drifted, ad accounts ran on outdated assumptions, and buyer messages went unanswered over weekends.

We started by building and running our own brand, Leyadoll, a personalised plush brand. Everything we offer partner brands now was first something we had to solve for ourselves.

We are not a creative shop that also handles media. We operate accounts directly, including outside normal hours when something like a suppression notice needs an immediate fix.

Leadership

Two principals

Both spent their early careers at Alibaba and are reachable directly.

Guoyuan Qiu
Guoyuan Qiu

Finance & supply chain

How we work

Four things we hold to

One P&L, not five dashboards

Platform-reported ROAS is a marketing number. Contribution margin after fees, freight, discounts and returns is a business number, and it's the one we report and reconcile to.

Fewer levers, pulled properly

Most accounts don't need another channel. They need the three that already work to be run with attention. We'll turn things off before we add them.

Bad news arrives early

A miss shows up in the weekly note with the reason and the fix, not months later in a quarterly review. You shouldn't learn about a problem from your bank balance.

You keep the keys

Accounts, domains, ad assets and customer data stay in your name. If the relationship ends, you keep working the next morning without a difficult handover.

Division of labour

What we take, what stays yours

This works best when the line is drawn on day one and both sides hold to it.

Fit

Who this works for, and who it doesn't

FIT

A good match

  • Founder-led consumer brands past first product-market fit
  • Already selling, and the constraint is operating capacity
  • Selling into North America, the UK, Europe or Australia
  • Willing to be measured on margin rather than revenue
NO

A poor match

  • Pre-product, looking for someone to validate an idea
  • Wanting a single channel run in isolation, cheaply
  • Expecting a fixed result inside 30 days
  • Unwilling to share cost of goods and landed cost
MAYBE

Worth a conversation

  • Currently working with an agency and unsure what it's returning
  • Launching a second market and short on operating bandwidth
  • Post-crowdfunding, moving from campaign to a real channel mix
  • Profitable but flat, with no clear read on why

Start with the audit, not the contract.

Thirty minutes, your numbers, our read on the three things we'd change first. No deck.
